Purchase: Paid $180 at a horse show in Aiken, SC.
Likes: Beautifully soft and supple leather from day one. I was very impressed with the quality of this bridle when I saw it hanging on the rack, and very happy to find out that the price was much lower than I expected! This bridle is made from English leather, and it is absolutely wonderful!
Dislikes: I would be happier if this bridle had a comfort crownpiece, if the noseband was looped instead of stitched, and if the flash noseband adapter was removable.
Quality: Very good quality! Stitching looks wonderful, very tight and even. Leather is superb. However when I clean this bridle, the dye does bleed quite a bit. It has gotten less with each cleaning, and I have yet to see the bridle suffer (just my tack cleaning cloths!) Leather doesn't take oil very well at first, but is preoiled and very supple so it doesn't really need much oiling.
Summary: Great bridle for the price. I have had numerous people compliment me on this bridle at shows. It really looks like a much more expensive bridle. I would definitely buy this bridle again, and will be buying another Bobby's to jump in soon!
