Purchase: I purchased two of these in 2006 on ebay for my horses. I bought two because I'd bought Derby Originals before and they always seemed quite durable for the price. They cost about $37 each, plus shipping.
Likes: It is an inexpensive fly sheet and held up about as long as I expected it to. Any small holes/bite holes did not run.
Dislikes: The fly sheets lasted without major holes through the summer of 2006. I put them away in October and took them back out in April of 2007. In May, the leather on one of the hind leg straps ripped out and in August, the other one was so full of holes that I quit using it. I didn't really expect it to last beyond a season, but I had hoped a little. My horses are out in a familiar little herd of five on 6 1/2 acres, so there is little fighting or competition, and we have no trees and only high tensile fencing.
Quality: Nylon mesh, fleece padded withers, leg straps and surcingle strap. Moderate quality; about expected for online price.
Summary: This is fine if you don't mind replacing your sheet every season, or if you only have one or two horses turned out together. I would buy another if I keep a horse separate from the others, but not for a horse in a herd situation. It lasted exactly as expected; no more, no less.
