Purchase: My mother purchased this for me for my first horses back in 1998 at a local tack store for $35.
Likes: It is comfortable on the horse and inexpensive. It is a general all-purpose pad, so fits most saddles.
Dislikes: It is not easy to get clean because of the white, and the padding tends to flatten under the weight of the saddle and rider, providing little protection for the horse. It almost protects the saddle more than the horse!
Quality: Quilted underside with fleece top, straps to hold the saddle and girth in place. Quality is expected for price; not exceptional but not poor, either. Mine has worked for years and I usually try to put a cheap flat pad under it to keep it clean.
Summary: Good starter english all-purpose pad. You may want to find two; one for schooling and one for shows, because they get dirty so fast.
