Purchase: I purchased this from Fleet Farm for $16 for the concentrate, as a possible fly spray for my horses.
Likes: This is a concentrate, so you get more for your money (even though a tiny bottle is $16, you can make several bathes of fly spray if you buy your own sprayer or reuse an old one). It worked reasonably well if I used a lower dilution of water to fly spray than directed, and it is more environmentally friendly because I can reuse the spray bottle over and over.
Dislikes: It doesn't work at all at the concentration recommended by Farnam, and while I hate lowering the dilution (putting in less water to concentrate) because I don't know what adverse effects it could have on my horse, this is the only way that I could get it to work at all. Since it is diluted with water by you, it is water-based, which means it will come off when the horse sweats. Horses sweat a lot during fly season, I've noticed.
Quality: This is a liquid concentrate, so it comes in a small bottle (easy to store!) and then you add the correct amount of water to dilute it. The correct amount was too much to have an effect for me.
Summary: Not the worst fly spray if improperly diluted to a lower ratio of water. No fly spray works excellent, but this one is tolerable, though you don't get as much fly spray per concentrate as you'd hoped because you need to dilute it less than they say. Also, make sure you buy an industrial-strength sprayer, because if you are going to be doing a lot of concentrate mixing, you'll go through sprayers quick (I went through two the summer I used concentrates). I no longer use this fly spray; I switched to Zonk It!
