Likes: I loved this saddle. Loved it! (I had to sell it because I have a horse with saddle fitting problems...nothing to do with the saddle itself.)
This saddle is well designed and handsome. All of my barn-mates were ga-ga over it. It has an extremely well padded, deep seat with a 4" cantle, which is very supportive for the rider's back. Note though: I'm an average sized woman and I had to take a 16" saddle because of the ample padding in the seat.
Because of it's flex tree design, there was no break-in period. The stirrups were in the right direction from the get-go. It didn't make as much saddle squeaky noise either, which is kind of nice.
Dislikes: The only criticism is that it is a bit heavy. One has to keep in mind that it is made of extremely nice, sturdy leather, and it isn't meant to be as light as a barrel saddle anyway.
Quality: Excellent. Just like Circle Y in it's heyday.
Summary: If I get another horse which doesn't have orthopedic problems, I'm going to buy another Reinsman in a flash!
