Passier
Lederbalsam
Tack Room
Manufacturer: Passier
Model: Lederbalsam
Category: Tack Room
Purchase: I bought this at a local tack shop for $18.95 (Canadian). The salesperson recommended it to me for use on my western saddles.
Likes: This product smells like honey! It comes in a can, and you apply it to your leather goods with a soft cloth, and let it be absorbed overnight.
It works! Very well! No ugly residue, or clotty splotches of greasy unabsorbed stuff. I used it to rehab an extremely dry (I would say "crispy") bridle, and it brought it back to serviceable life. Good stuff! Great stuff.
Dislikes: Lederbalsam is pricey, and not an "instant" product. It works best if left on for a while.
Quality:
Summary: I'm on my third can, which, by the way, last quite a long time. I've used it on western and English tack of all qualities, and it does a great job.
