Purchase: I paid $1400 for my brand new Kieffer saddle at Charlotte's Saddlery, a local Houston tack shop.
Likes: I love how supple and soft the leather was before I even conditioned it. The saddle's seat is also comfy which is of utmost importance! The saddle also seems very sturdy and I feel it will withstand a lot of use.
Dislikes: Unfortunately I am unable to tell but the saddle tends to tip me forward when I ride, however, it could just be my riding!
Quality: I definitely appreciate the fine leather and sturdy construction of the saddle, its probably a lower to mid priced dressage saddle but it feels as if I 'could' be riding a Grand Prix dressage horse, not to say that I am anywhere close!
Summary: The saddle was definitely a great find, although if you are willing to search, you could probably find it cheaper. Another great fact about Kieffer saddles is that they are adjustable to fit your horse!
Usefulness Rating: 3 out of 5.
