Purchase: I have four of bought these from Fleet Farm in two sizes. They cost between $7 and $12 depending on the size.
Likes: These are heavy duty and if stepped on upside down can simply be reshaped. They hold a good amount of feed and I have never had one crack or rip, even in six years of daily use in temperatures from -40 to 106.
Dislikes: They are not no-tip, so the horses can tip them very easily. They also bend easily enough that if a horse kicks at it he can flip it over and spill his food on the ground.
Quality: Heavy rubber all around.
Summary: This is a great feed pan for horses that don't kick their buckets or like to tip them. It is big, so it catches food that falls out of his mouth if he is a sloppy eater. Sits on the ground for normal neck flexion and muscle movement. Cheap and lasts a long time.
