Purchase: I bought this at Fleet Farm for about $14 for a big bucket. I had a gelding with sensitive feet and I was hoping to give him some relief. I also had a stallion with thrush and wanted to keep the foot dry and clean.
Likes: This is a great concept. You apply a sealant of play-doh like consistency to the foot and it molds into the shape of the hoof and stays there to keep it clean and dry.
Dislikes: It got dirty and fell off right away, even if the horses were kept in stalls. Perhaps I didn't apply it correctly, but it stayed soft, so it still picked up dirt and could mold to other shapes, as well...and if it got dirty, it lost its stickiness.
Quality: This comes in a tacky material kind of like play-doh, only stickier. It is skin-tone in color. It didn't last long on my horse's feet.
Summary: I wouldn't buy this again, maybe because I don't know how to apply it correctly? I still have a lot of it left and I won't use it again, even under the easyboots.
