Purchase: My brother bought this for me as a gift because I had expressed interest in wanting one. He spent about $30 for it.
Likes: This is great for trail riding. I hack out english, so I don't have a lot of space for attaching saddle bags or the like. This pad had a fair amount of space (enough that we could pack our Wendy's purchases in the pocket when we took the horses through the drive-through), and does a good job of keeping the fleece pad clean because it is quite thick.
Dislikes: Well, some saddle pads like this also have the fleece pad built in, and now that I've seen that I would prefer it, to keep things together a little more (you know how two pads can slip on each other a bit). But other than wishing that I had that type of pad, there is nothing wrong with the one I have and I like it very much.
Quality: Heavy cotton pad, machine washable, in green, blue, or burgundy, with piping. Easy to open/close pockets on either side.
Summary: This is a great pad for the english trail rider. It washes easily and comes in assorted colors. If I buy another, I would probably buy one with the fleece pad built in, but this one is not bad, it just takes a few more minutes to tack up since this is only an under pad (it doesn't pad the horse at all).
