Purchase: Horse Tech has a website selling all their products. I paid $159.95 (free shipping) for a 40lb bag-106 servings. In the summer 2004, I searched everywhere for a supplement that "does it all" -hoofs, joints, vitamins- Glanzen GL DOES!!
Likes: Glanzen GL has 6000mg glucosamine, 4500mg vitamin C, !30mg! biotin. Also, Methionine, Lysine, B-complex vits, minerals, Omega 3 fatty acids. Check the website for all the ingredients. I checked many, many products and compared what each had. Many times, the amounts were not listed, and some key ingredient was missing. Most didn't have enough biotin. Even now, I have looked and cannot find anything as complete.
Dislikes: Nothing.
Quality: Glanzen is a granular powder. 3 scoops on top of grain once a day. It smells good, my horses seem to like it. Joey, our 21 year old former jumper, is doing great. He doesn't seem as stiff. His coat is thick and shiny and he is full of energy.
Summary: After doing a lot of research on hoof health, joint health, and nutrition, I have found Glanzen products to be very complete and easy. I am glad I don't have to mix 3 or 4 different supplements to get everything my horses need.
