Likes: I have had their rugs before and cant fault them. expensive at the time but now up with the market. they wash and proof well and last for years. I still have an original
rambo n/z rug. it is nearly 11 years old.
Dislikes: I have purchased two rug/neck/head fly units that are rambo for my two cobs. I moved to france this year and the flys are terrible at times. However, they overheat in this item and they move back. My gelding is a shire cross and a big boy. Fit at first then it moved around and he dislikes having it on. He is a real sweety.
the mare overheats and again she is light weight and it moves back. they fit when placed on in the morning but midday they have moved around. they are 6/3"
Quality: very well made but think that the velcro front could be made to have another attachment to make the breast wider as on a lot of heavy cobs.
The rug also seems to become very warm
very well made but not enough thought given to the size (COB)the neck is not wide enough for a large cob so perhaps sold as items not as a set
Summary: I think this product is well made and good value for money. It is soft. However it is not wide enough on the front for a heavy cob. If you had a larger size it would be to long in the back.
I have rambo attachments to make my n/z wider and think that this product could do with this.
The product becomes very warm in the heat and the horses are over heating. To fit a under sheet would make this product even tighter.
