Purchase: I bought this saddle used but like new from a local tack shop. Size 17.5 regular width. Paid $750 (saddle new is $895-$995).

Likes: Can you say great fit! I am 5'9" and all leg and this saddle fits me like a custom saddle. I sat in 50+ saddles, from $300 - $1900, from wintec, to Bates, to Crosby and this saddle was the only one that accommodated my leg and as a bonus it is great saddle! I loved it as soon as I sat on it and I love it even more as I ride in it. The knee and thigh blocks (adjustable and removable) are significant and lock your leg in place. I ride a big TB who jumps big and this saddle provides ultimate security without restricting movement at all! The saddle is great for flat work too. The leather wonderfully soft and as beautiful as $2000+ saddles. For long legged rider or any rider looking for a great deal on an amazing evening saddle this is it!

Dislikes: Only that it can be a hard saddle to find (not as common as Pessoa or Crosby or Bates etc).

Quality: Very forward flap. Medium depth saddle. Medium brown two-tone exquisitely soft leather. Soft, deeply padded knee pads and significant and totally adjustable knee and thigh blocks. Top construction and materials. Easily competes with the Pessoa Blyth Tait Event Saddle and the leather is as wonderful as any saddle up to $2000 and no even/jumping saddle I have see under $1500 (new) has leather similar to this quality. I feel like I got a steal! I have only owned the saddle for a month so cannot speak to longevity, but I expect the best!

Summary: Amazing fit for rider (even us long legged ones)and horse. Top construction. Perfectly balanced for jumping small and big and flat work too. All around beautiful saddle. (can you tell I love it!) Out of 5 this saddle is a 10!
