Purchase: i bought a 12oz. jar of hooflex liquid hoof conditioner for about $14.50 from northyork farmers country depot on leslie street in newmarket ontario because a riding buddy recommended it.
Likes: i cant say enough good things about this product. it keeps moisture levels perfect in my horses hooves. in fact, when all the other horses have chipping, cracking feet my gelding only got ONE little chip this whole dry summer and ZERO cracks!! i believe this is because i apply hooflex three to four times weekly to the sole, frog (deep in the grooves too!),coronet band and heels of his feet after giving them a good picking and brushing out. this product is an oldie but a goody, i have never used anything other than hooflex on my boys feet since buying him this spring and didn't use anything on his feet until a girl i knew recommended it. i love hooflex and what it does for my geldings feet-i will continue to buy and recommend this product as long as i own horses!(forever)
Dislikes: 1.the liquid hooflex is in a pretty small container and doesn't last as long as the standard 32oz.jars out there if you use it regularly like you are supposed to do.
2.if you want to save money like me you are better of shopping at GREENHAWK and buying the original hooflex in the big tub for the same price i bought the small jar of liquid dressing for.
this isn't really a dislike, i just want my fellow equestrians to be able to save some money.
Quality: hooflex comes in a bright turquoise and yellow packaging, hooflex is written in caps quite clearly on the label.
Summary: i highly recommend this as a year round hoof moisturizer!
