Purchase: I acquired this saddle at the Tack Shop in Moses Lake, WA. My saddle was getting old and I wanted a new one. So I went into the Tack Shop to look at try out saddles. They had some Crates and I really liked them but they did not have the one that I wanted so we looked in the Crates book and I picked out the saddle that I wanted. Jeff Dayett, the owner, called and ordered my saddle. He talked with whom he was ordering the saddle with about color and we decided to let her pick out the color that looked the best. I paid $1200 for it.
Likes: I LOVE how the saddle looks, feels, sits on my horse, and moves with me.
Dislikes: It still squeaks.
Quality: The quality and construction of this saddle are impeccable. There is not a flaw or thing that I would change. I have had the saddle now for three years and I ride a lot and it hardly looks used.
Summary: My next saddle will be a Crates, my sister bought one after I did because she liked mine so well, and I am looking for a Crates youth for my daughter now. There is nothing better.
