Purchase: I acquired a fully tooled saddle from Corriente Saddles about a month ago. Great deal for the price of about $700, ordered directly from the saddle company via phone. Great customer service, very nice and a pleasure to work with.
Likes: The saddle is very sturdy, decent tooling, and has a great feel to it. Fits my 15+ hands stout quarter horse just fine. I had never used a Wade saddle so it took me some time to get in tune with it on the trot and gallop. Once I did it was a great ride, super comfortable and allows for the most balanced seat I've ever felt. For trail riding it's the best I've ever been on, super confortable. A lot of other people have tried my saddle and they love it.
Dislikes: Weaknesses-the conchos aren't very good quality (i removed them and replaced with better quality), and the tooling on the skirt starts rubbing on the fender and blevins which could become a problem later.
Quality: Great construction, sturdy and very comfortable.
Summary: I give this saddle a 5 because of the quality and the price. The minor weaknesses are what one might expect at the price paid. I love this saddle and bought my wife a barrel racing saddle, and she loves it also.
