Purchase: I purchased my saddle on line from www.dixielandgaitedsaddles.com for $795. it was a ridden in once used saddle.
Likes: I love the saddle, first it fits my gaited horse perfectly allowing him to move so much better than he has in the past. And second the saddle is the most comfortable one I have ever ridden in. It is a very attractive saddle, with tooled leather even on the stir up covers. The six inch cantle and double padded seat adds to it's comfort.

Quality: The saddle is put together on a Steele Equi-Fit flexible tree, specially made for gaited horses. It has glove leather on the seat and real wool felt underside. You can see the hand workmanship just by looking at the saddle it is very well constructed, made to last.
Summary: Shopping with Cynthia at Dixieland could not of been a better experience. I emailed her several times for probably 2 weeks before making my decision to purchase a saddle. The final selling point was if the saddle did not fit my horse, I could send it back and they would send me fit forms to make a saddle that would fit him.
