Purchase: I bought this at Schatzlein's Saddle Shop in Minneapolis for about $50 because I was going to ride my mare to the alter for my wedding and I needed to keep her clean beforehand. This was especially important because she is a 60/40 white and brown paint.
Likes: The white is nice because it keeps the horse cooler. It did its job of keeping my horse clean...though her stall was kept immaculate and cleaned every two hours by the barn staff, she did manage to lay in "something" green. I groaned...a huge green spot on my horse, and here was I trying to get the wedding set up! I had already cleaned her and didn't want to do it again. Low and behold, when I took off the sheet, nothing had gone on to my horse; she was just as white as she should be!
Dislikes: Nothing. It held up when I needed it; I haven't used it on a regular basis because normally the horses are turned out 24/7 so they wear fly sheets instead.
Quality: White with dark colored piping and squares. Fleece withers. Rip-stop design (though mine didn't rip so I never tested that). White reflects heat rather than absorbing it and is supposed to keep your horse from fading, too.
Summary: This is a great sheet if you need to keep your horse clean before a special event. I love it! Being a sheet, my 78" fits most horses because they're a little loose anyhow.
