Purchase: I purchased this saddle directly from the company website and paid around $2000. (The saddle I chose was on the sale page.) The best $2000 I ever spent.
Likes: After trying many other saddles and suffering horribly (the details aren't polite conversation), I started researching saddles made for the female seat. My seat bones are very far apart and the seats of "off the rack" saddles were too narrow. I was sitting on my soft parts (ouch!) and couldn't post without hitting the pommel (double ouch!) I found only one saddle that fit what I was looking for - Synergist Saddles. Ordering was easy. You are sent a form that you heat in the oven and place on your horse's back. Once it cools and becomes hard, you mail it back and they make your saddle - or reflock one that is already made. The rider also has to send measurements and pictures. The saddle I received was the most wonderful saddle ever. The leather is amazing, the quality is super and best of all...I can actually sit on my seat bones! The seat is about 3 inches wider than anything off the rack. My instructor was very impressed to say the least.
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like is that I didn't find this saddle sooner.
Quality: I have owned this saddle for a few months and have been very happy. The leather appears to be buffalo and is very supple. I didn't need to do anything to it when I received it. I think it is a quality saddle.
Summary: If you feel you need a wider saddle to fit your seat, don't suffer any longer. This saddle is wonderful beyond words. I will never buy anything else.
