Purchase: I purchased these boots for approximately $170 3 years ago in a tack shop in Massachusetts.
Likes: It only took one wearing to break-in these boots, and they've been comfortable ever since! They are very durable, and I love that they are waterproof. Also, recently my right foot was stepped full-on by a horse, and my toes weren't even bruised!
Dislikes: I love everything about them-yes, they're expensive, but worth it.
Quality: They've been worn in heat, cold, sand, muck, ice, and snowy conditions, and with consistent cleaning, they look almost brand new. The inside is beautifully finished with smooth leather, and there is a removable and replaceable cushioned foot bed. The boots are flexible enough for proper foot positioning while in the stirrups.
Summary: These boots are expensive, but one of the best purchases I have ever made. They are reliable and comfortable, and very durable. Based on how well they've held up after three years, I expect to get at least another three years of wear out of them, and probably more!
