Manufacturer: Ariat
Model: Hampton II Paddock Boots

Purchase: I bought these boots in March 2004 at Lightning G Horseman's Shop in LaGrangeville, NY. They were 20% off and ended up as $85, which is a great deal. I decided to get a new pair of boots because the ones I had then hurt me after ever single ride and it got to a point where I couldn't take it anymore.
Likes: One thing I like about these boots is the convenience of the zipper. It's pretty much just an easy on/off. I also love the Ariat ATS system. Even now after spending sometimes even 8 or so hours at the barn (45 or so up in the saddle), I hardly feel any pain whatsover in my feet. These boots have never caused any sort of pain and give great support, no matter how long I am wearing them for. One also popular feature in this boot is the steel toe - it has definatly saved my toes quite a few times! Also, I tend to abuse my stuff. I try to take good care of them, but being at the barn a lot makes it nearly impossible at times. I have ridden in heat, snow, rain, wind, etc. and these boots look almost new. There are almost no scuffs and no splitting and cracking of the soft leather. The boots have also worn in very easily, eliminating the pain of breaking in brand new boots.
Dislikes: I don't have any major complaints about this product. Everything has overall been great. The only one teeny thing I dislike is that the zipper has gotten hard to zip/and or stuck once or twice. Other than that, the zipper has been great. I think the cause of that was merely a piece of leather ( I guess the sneaker equivelent would be the tongue)under the zipper. Being more careful would have definatly prevented that.
Quality: The quality of these Ariats is excellent. The leather is soft and supple and the design of the boot is overall terrific. They have also held up very nicely. By now, any other boot would be beat up, where these barely have a scratch.
Summary: These boots are just amazing. I have never regretted buying these and think they are worth every single cent. I would definatly reccomend them to anyone and everyone who is just looking for a good-quality boot at a decent price that will keep up with you the whole way.
