Purchase: I have two Circle Y show halters. I purchased them because of the quality and because of the great luck I've had with Circle Y tack. I paid just under $800 for the two of them.
I also had a weanling Circle Y halter which was absolutely gorgeous, but my best friend talked me out of it (I know where it is if I need to use it ever again).
Likes: These halters are quality throughout. The leather is excellent and supple. They halter have tons of silver which by themselves are Congress quality. Silver with gold filigree and gem stones. These halters were purchased in 1988 before gemstones were the rage. Ya think the ground work for today's rage started away back then..no doubt.
Dislikes: There is nothing that I dislike about these halters. I only regret that I have aged and they have not. They will outlive me.
Quality: Excellent quality, no question. Leather is just as good as when they were new, as is the stitching and silver decorations. It's pretty obvious when friends ask if they can use them when I am not. NOT
Summary: I have had such great luck with my Circle Y tack (I have a Circle Y saddle too), that I intend to keep using their products as long as I can swing a leg over a horse's back.
I have looked and it's hard to find anyone willing to part with their Circle Y equipment. This in itself, is a testament to the excellent long lasting quality of Circle Y tack.
