Purchase: My Daughters, sister-in-law had bought this Bob Marshall saddle 7yrs ago, she only rode in it about 4or5 times before getting hurt. The saddle was the only thing she had kept from there horse experiences Just because it was so pretty. Lisa ask me to buy the saddle she paid over 2000.00 for it. I'd never ridden in one so I bought it for $375.00 because it was darn sure cheap enough.
Likes: the saddle is lite weight, it is easy to clean, sits very comfortable, lots of padding in the seat. Easy on my horse, and easy on my back. You can feel the horse and know his next move. when looking at the saddle you wouldn't know it was a treeless, I didn't at first. I have ridden leather saddles with tree's for over 40 years, and never dreamed I would ever like one of these. I love it.
Dislikes: I have only found a couple of things that is, That this saddle doesn't have leather fenders. The Silver conchos have no glue to keep them in place, and they get loose quickly. Always having to tighten them up. Saddle glue fixed that problem.
Quality: The Bob Marshall by circle Y has some of the best tooling I've seen, The workman ship is great. Deep seat, 5" cantle, high swells, 3"horn all leather. The breast collar the back cinch, billets all of it. I just never would have believed that a treeless saddle would ever be this nice.
Summary: The Bob Marshall sports saddle is a great thing. I only wish I had tried one years ago, instead of turning up my nose. Another friend of mine has a Bob Marshall she has ridden for 7yrs. and loves it. I would buy another one. That is if I can ever ware this one out. Bob Marshall's are worth every penny. And I'm hard headed and st in my thoughts. I still can believe it.
