Purchase: I bought these on clearance a few years ago for about $40 each. I bought three of them. I needed new blankets for my horses and these were cheap, and I was in my first or second year of college and didn't have much money to spend.
Likes: They were inexpensive and they didn't slip too badly for bias surcingles. They had hood rings for attaching a hood.
Dislikes: The leg straps were small and cheap and gave out quickly. They did occasionally slip under the horse, and when that happened they got stepped on and ripped. They lasted longer than expected; I only expected a year or so, and one lasted three years and two lasted two years. When they ripped, though, they ripped the length of the entire blanket, not just in patches.
Quality: Quilted blanket with bias surcingles and small elastic leg straps. Not rip-stop, and doesn't take kindly to aggressive horses. Light weight blanket; not really sufficient for colder climates (I used these if it was 10-20 degrees and if colder added an insulator blanket. I took the blankets off at 20 degrees because we lived WAY up north, where 20 was warm!).
Summary: Probably a decent and affordable blanket for stable (not turn-out) use. I used mine as 24/7 blankets, so they wore them inside and out. Not super durable, but an economical blanket for horses kept indoors or outside in a mild climate in private paddocks.
