Purchase: I purchased them from The Horse-N-More in Teulon MB, Canada for $119 per pair.
Likes: Enables my horses to walk on gravel like never before! Even with metal shoes, my gelding is so sensitive that he "pussy foots" all over the road looking for soft ground to walk on, and you feel like he is being tortured and obviously doesn't enjoy going on rides. He is much happier and more confidant. Easy to put on and take off. Neither of my horses experienced any rubbing on their pasterns.
Dislikes: Velcro seems to wear out fast. See next sections...
Quality: In under 5, around 2 hour trail rides, Outer velcro enclosure keeps opening and has started to fray and fluff, decreasing the strength of the velcro. Might have to sew a snap closure or something of that sort to keep the outer velcro from tearing open during rides.
Summary: I think they do a great job, but need a new style of outer closure.
