Purchase: I bought this from State Line Tack for about $25 because I needed a show shirt.
Likes: This is a pretty basic shirt that is really all-purpose and can be used for the low-level dressage stuff, as well as hunter or jumping. It is easy to wash, and the short sleeves make it formal enough to wear on hot days when coats aren't required, but it still goes well under a coat.
Dislikes: It's not a very durable shirt. Stains don't come out easily; I have had to re-sew half of the buttons back on and the collar doesn't sit very well on the neck (it tends to show a bit of the actual shirt collar). It is also quite transparent, so you need to wear an undershirt or at least a white bra underneath.
Quality: A very lightweight cotton blend shirt, comes in white only, separate collar. Quality is as expected for price; not suburb, but not sub-par. Schooling show quality. The same quality you would expect from a shirt you'd buy at Kohl's for $24.99.
Summary: This is a decent schooling level shirt and is fine for occasional use. It looks pretty standard and there is nothing overwhelming about it, good or bad. I suggest that as soon as it comes you immediately reinforce all the buttons, otherwise you'll lose them and need to buy more. This shirt is just fine for under a coat, and if it's always going to be hidden, there's no point in spending extra money on a show shirt.
