Antibacterial soap (Betadine), Saline, Antibiotic ointment (Neosporin), Sterile gauze, disposable diapers or wrapped sanitary napkins (great to help stop bleeding), Bandages (Ace, Guaze, Wraps, Vet Wrap, keep several types and sizes), medical tape to keep pads and bandages in place, Quilted Wraps, Scissors, Knife, Tweezers, Ice Packs, Heat Packs, Rubbing A, Thermometer, Lubricant, Stethoscope.
Most Important the book "How to be Your Own Veterinarian, Sometimes." This isa great book to help in an emergency situation. By no means does it replace calling the vet!
Dislikes: Nothing, all barns, trailers, horse people need to have a first aid kit on hand at all times.
Quality: A great idea is to get a rubbermaid type of box, like a fishing tackle box to hold everything.
Summary: There is no excuse for lack of safety!
