Purchase: My mother bought these for me as a Christmas present. I believe she paid around $60, give or take ten dollars.
Likes: I've had these chaps for almost FOUR YEARS, and they've held up beautifully, up until last month, when the stitching of the suede pads on the inside of the leg began to come undone. But hey, they're pretty ancient for a pair of half chaps! No damage to the actual leather, just to the stitching on the left chap.
Dislikes: While they fit nicely in the calf and are stretchy enough to wear with jeans or breeches, they are about two inches too short. I'm taller than average, so that's probably why, but it was still a bit annoying, even though it didn't effect how the chap functioned. The snaps tended to come undone after an hour or so of riding as well.
Quality: Very nice quality, made to last! Not cheap leather, but not something that will cost you a bundle, either.
Summary: Lots of value for the dollar -- a great investment all 'round!
