Purchase: I purchased this pair of spurs at a local tack shop for $30. I just needed a pair of spurs, and thought it a wise idea to invest in a good pair, rather than in a lower-quality pair that appeared more fragile.
Likes: Well, first of all, the spurs came in a very attractive box that was velvet-lined and said "Stubben" on the front, which made purchasing the spurs a little bit more fun! The spurs are both durable and attractive, as are the spur straps that came with them. Both the spurs and the straps are very high-quality products which work well.
Dislikes: The spurs were -- in my opinion -- based very narrowly, so I had to stretch the spurs wider in order to make them fit. However, this made them uncomfortable for a period in time until I adjusted them again. Honestly, though, this may have just been my fault, and they therefore are perfect spurs!
Quality: I have had the spurs for three years now, and they are still in excellent condition, are as the leather straps that accompanied them (this is even when I use them nearly every day). They work very effectively and don't slip around, as I've found some other spurs to do.
Summary: These are a great pair of spurs that both are attractive and highly functional. I would definitely recommend investing in a pair if you're looking for some new spurs!
