Purchase: I bought this pair of boots at the local grain elevator for around $80. The boots I had previously were not insulated, which made cleaning stalls in the winter extremely unpleasant!
Likes: First of all, this is the warmest pair of boots I have ever seen. They are WONDERFUL if you spend any duration outside during cold months! In addition to being warm, they also are perfectly waterproof. The soles are non-skid and durable, made out of rubber, and with a reinforced toe. The top part (these are relatively tall boots) is a stretchy shell, which means it clings to your legs and therefore insulates better. The inside of the boots is also comfortable, with a padded insert in the boot. These boots are just soooo warm and comfortable!
Dislikes: Over the course of my wearing them (I have a job cleaning stalls at a barn, and so therefore clean approximately 100 stalls a week), I have worn down some of the insulation on the inside of the right boot, and if my socks aren't tall enough or something, it can cause a blister because of a rough spot. However, this may not even happen to someone who wouldn't need to wear them as long as I do!
Quality: These are superior quality in every way. They are advertised as "the best boots for mucking stalls," and they really are.
Summary: I absolutely love these boots and would highly recommend investing in some (I've talked several friends into buying some and they love them too!)
