Purchase: Cowboy magic products are sold at our local Feed store "Wai Ulu Farms" here in Pukalani on the Island of Maui in Hawaii. My horses get very dirty all of the time and need to be groomed as often as possible, they love the "dred-lock look" as far as their manes' hairdoo goes and the their tails are there to collect sticks and leaves. I needed something that would help me get them looking like horses and not the out-side dust mops. I pay $17 for a 12 oz. bottle
Likes: I like this product becaue it does the job of detangling their hair and still gives me time to ride,I don't like to comb out their mane and tail w/out it,I just hate the sounds of the hair snapping and getting pulled out by their roots.
Dislikes: Maybe come in a gallon size, other than that nothing. It's just great!
Quality: Very easy to handle bottle , not bulky, also like the snap top, it locks secerly when shut, and washes out from your hands quickly
Summary: This product is a very valuable tool around my barn,I will to go to extremes to prolong the life of a bottle. I have to admitt, that I have hidden many a bottles of Cowboy Magic from my neices. They think it's something to put on the horses mane to make them look "slick".So I hide the full bottles(along with any extra hair brushes laying around the barn)in an old bucket under a rag thats hidden where they won't look and leave an empty bottle out, I do make sure there is alittle bit of lotion in the bottom of the bottle, I'm not that wicked!(just in case they want to surprise me and do the grooming when I'm not arround) or give them their "portion controled amount" in their little hands so "Aunty" (me)will have some left for the next time the horses need some sprucing up.
