Purchase: I bought this blanket off of tack-wholesale.com, for $79.00, plus shipping.
Likes: These blankets are advertised as being 'extra wide', and they DEFINITELY are. Big stocky Quarter Horse owners, take note! These blankets have PLENTY of room for big, broad shoulders and big, broad butts. This is the first blanket I've had that truly fit my mare, and didn't squish her shoulders. Also, this is a very warm blanket, but not overly heavy. It kept my mare nice and warm, but didn't weigh her down too much. Also, the entire inside is lined with nylon, so no rub marks! It is also waterproof, which is a definite plus.
Dislikes: I really can't think of anything that I don't like about this blanket. Although it may not fit more narrow horses.
Quality: Decent construction and quality, maybe not like Weatherbeeta or Rambo, but considering this was only $79 and a Weatherbeeta can be $200+, I think it is made VERY well for the price. It has held up well against the rigors of pasture board.
Summary: I love this blanket. I recommend it to everyone, especially those who are on a budget. Get an amazing piece of clothing for your horse, and don't pay the outlandish price!
