Purchase: I bought this from tackwholesale.com on sale for $30 because I wanted to keep my mare clean before my wedding.
Likes: There is nothing particularly grand that stands out about this cooler. I guess that I like that it can be an extra layer of warmth, and might not be bad as a riding blanket.
Dislikes: Putting my sore feelings for the distributor aside, this isn't really worth the money. Sure, it seems cozy, but it picks up hay and straw easily and feels more like felt than fleece. The picture on the website shows bias surcingles; mine came with NO surcingles (maybe because I ordered the green?). There are no ties under the horse to hold it in place, so it slips off if the horse is left unattended. Also, being fleece, my horse got hot under it (so much for working as a cooler).
Quality: Fleece cooler with front closure, not much else to it.
Summary: This company doesn't accept returns and will not return e-mails or phone calls about defective products. I've purchased from them too many times, and I finally learned. If you won't stay away from the company, at least stay away from this sheet. It is hot and slips off the horse and isn't much of a cooler or a sheet.
