Purchase: I purchased a custom-made bridle bag, saddle bag, and boot bag from Dover Saddlery (although many other bags are also available). The bridle bag was $19.90, the saddle bag was $59.90, and the boot bag was $24.90. I simply needed a better way to both store and transport my tack!
Likes: I like the high-quality of the items. They all are extremely attractive, and you can choose a basic color and a trim (within about 15 options). Piping and/or a monogram can also be added at an extra charge. I opted to buy the (more expensive) flannel-lined saddle bag, and I'm so glad I did. It's heavy-duty enough to protect my saddle, without weighing an enormous amount. The carrying straps are positioned in such a way so as to put the least amount of stress on the saddle as possible. I really liked how the bags weren't bulky, as a lot of the quilted bags are (these aren't quilted).
Dislikes: The bridle bag was a little bit on the small side -- my full-size bridle just barely fit (it did get a little bit squeezed), so if you had an oversized bridle, it wouldn't work. The same would be true if you had unusually tall boots in the boot bag. I also didn't like the majority of the colors they offered.
Quality: Since it's custom-made, the bag is made for you specifically, and I was very impressed. They're heavy-duty, tear-resistant, and very attractive.
Summary: If you're looking for custom bags that don't cost a fortune, I would highly recommend these!
