Purchase: I own an OTTTB who has significant intestinal motility problems. He is ten and has suffered bouts of impaction his entire life. I recently had him taken to local vet hospital for a week, and they introduced him to UlcerGard. This is a great product. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of ulcers in horses, and I have been thrilled with the change in my boy since running a course of this medication.
Likes: His health has improved tremendously and he is less sensitive in the barrel area. Though this is not the only way we are managing his issues, I believe this has made a HUGE difference in his quality of life and overall level of contentment. Whenever his is faced with a stressful situation, showing, trailering, I will continue to use the treatment.
Dislikes: It is a 4 dose syringe - if your horse does not like worming, he likely won't like this. But it has a nice flavour and is such a small amount, my boy did not resist after just a few days.
