Purchase: Bought a western 16" pecan Imus 4 Beat saddle (standard tree) for 1325.00, plus shipping, from a mail order tack shop in Tennessee a few weeks ago. I wanted a good fit for my high withered gaited horse. Also I liked the idea of the supracor seat, flex tree, dropped rigging, and extra padding for the horse. It fits forward on the horse, and cups the horse's shoulders, the stirrup fenders are set farther forward, and there is clearance for the horse's spine.
Likes: The cushiony padded seat is comfortable and I can swing my legs forward and relax on trail rides. I am a middle-aged woman who broke a left hip 5 years ago, plus I have degenerative disks in my lower back so I do get stiff and sore easily - the saddle helps me ride in comfort.
Dislikes: The saddle is a bit on the heavy side for me.
Quality: Leather and construction is good quality
Summary: So far this saddle is the most comfortable I have found, for trail riding. The dropped rigging stabilizes it on the horse.
