Purchase: I bought this at a local tack store- the 5lb container for about $45 without tax.
Likes: It is palatable and smells alright. I was pulled in by the fact that it had glucosamine, chondritin, and HA. What sold me was the price, being about 1/2 of what Corta-Flx costs.
Dislikes: Everything else! 1 week after switching my mare from Corta-Flx to this, she was quite noticeably more stiff in her hocks and stifles. I thought that I would save a lot of money by switching from Corta-Flx, but I save nothing if it doesn't work at all!!! Because I thought that maybe my horse's gut needed to learn to absorb this new supplement, I gave it 1 month to work. No change. I ended up having to give my horse a shot of Legend to counteract the stiffness, which I didn't want to wait 2 weeks to correct.
Quality: Maybe the powder holds less efficacy than the liquid?? Perhaps the particle size of the components means that it isn't absorbed and thus used by the horse?? Don't know, but it doesn't work at all.
Summary: You don't save any money if it doesn't work!
