Purchase: I got these boots from the local horse store, around $85. I bought them in Aug 07, and have been riding at least once a week in them. For me, the store either had the $300 leather boots or these (and I've been hearing good things about these boots), so I decided to get the Saxons.
Likes: Wow, the first time I tried them on, I could not believe how comfy the soles were! They are SO easy to clean, and grip well when riding. I don't even have to worry about mud, puddles, or snow since they are not leather. The ankle started to break in nicely after the 3rd use, and is starting to form to my calves now.
Dislikes: The only thing was the first time I used them the black heel cup lining stuff left a mark on my white socks, but washed out.
Quality: Very pretty and well made! These are my first pair of tall english boots. With proper care I hope they will last a long time, from schooling to showing.
Also, a GREAT price!!
Summary: Good pair, especially if you are just starting out, or if you want a lot of comfort.
