Purchase: Mine was a gift from a bunch of friends that got together, it came as such a lovely surprise.
Normally they are $199.95 and well worth it.
Likes: The way it actually fits my horses shape, it feels very secure, and although you CAN mount on it from the ground I haven't (I can't do that in ANY saddle anymore. Bad knee won't let me you know. But make sure its smack in the middle before tightening cause its not moving once you are up there.
The suede leather gives you such grip you hardly need the stirrups. The pad that comes with it easily comes off and goes in the wash.
Dislikes: That it doesn't use the safety bar stirrup attachments like on saddles, you have to use safety stirrups with this one or have the rings the stirrups attach with Velcro on. You might want to use a Skito pad under it if you ride long distances though as it does not have a channel under the seat.
Quality: Lovely workmanship, each one is hand made to your specifications. Long or short billets (I got long so the girth would be lower)Lots of D rings to tie stuff on and attach a breast collar to. Not cheap hardware either, but good quality stuff that will not break easily.
Summary: I find this to be the most secure and comfortable pad I have EVER ridden on. And they fit EVERY horse since there is no tree.
To tell you the truth, I like it BETTER than the treeless saddle I hand made for myself.
