Purchase: I purchased my Tex Tan Imperial Show saddle in August of 2006. I bought it used and paid approximately $600.00 for it. I was very lucky because a kid decided to quit riding and the family just wanted to unload it and it is in great condition.
Likes: I love this saddle. At the present time, since I only started riding western in the past year I have used this saddle for everything. I ride in it daily. I have even trail ridden in this saddle due to the fact it is the only western saddle I own. The saddle cleans up great and is comfortable.
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like about the saddle is the fact that it was a very light color and in time it has turned a medium to dark orange shade. That is the only complaint I can give you.
Quality: The quality of the unit is amazing! I also must say that Tex Tan stands behind their work. I lost a bolt from my stirrup which is an engraved silver stirrup. One phone call to Tex Tan and they immediately mailed me the bolt free of charge.
I think it is a well built saddle and I would highly recommend anyone to purchase a saddle from Tex Tan.
If and when this saddle wears out, I would definitely buy another Tex Tan.
Summary: I am very pleased with my Tex Tan Imperial Show Saddle and would recommend this brand to everyone.
