Purchase: I bought my saddle in Middle TN at Bedford Tack. They have a huge selection of many high end saddles. I paid 1,365 and they changed the off billet and the tie strap to my choice in the store for free. I chose to keep the stirrups that came with the saddle.
Likes: I bought this saddle after trying 2 others and returning them. One was a Tucker the other was a Circle Y Endurance neither of those suited my riding style. The Sheridan is comfortable fits both me and my two different size TWH's and is a quality made attractive saddle. I think the dropped rigging actually keeps the saddle from slipping when loose and not using a breast collar. T
Dislikes: The dropped rigging is still questionable. My horses needed much smaller cinches. My 16.1h TWH is using a size 28 cinch! The breast dollar dees could be higher.
I am finding it hard to find the matching headstall and breast collar but maybe that's because this saddle is new for 2007.
Quality: The fenders turned out in a week and are soft to start with. Excellent quality leather used through out this saddle, lots of attention to detail. Can ride in it all day and not get sore at all.
Summary: This saddle is worth every penny I paid for it, it is fairly priced and pretty much should be within a few dollars difference between stores. This is my second Circle Y only because the first one was too big or I would have kept it forever too. The Carlsband is even better than this one but heavier and too much skirt for me.
