Purchase: I bought this pad from Dover's sale catalog for around $79. What it isn't on sale, they ask around $99 for it.
I bought this pad because I wanted an affordable sheepskin lined dressage pad.
Likes: It's a very well-made pad, with nylon billets and girth slots well-stitched and sturdy, and sheepskin is of very good quality. It is thick and washes very well. I toss it in the washing machine with Woolite on the gentle cycle, and always line dry it. The sheepskin comes out fluffy and thick as new. It also is very comfortable for my horse and stays put under my saddle.
Dislikes: There really isn't anything to complain about.
Quality: I think it's a very good value for the money. The stitching and materials are quite good. It holds its shape well. The quilted cotton is of good quality and is wearing well. I've had it about six months and with daily use it still looks good after being washed.
Summary: Very good value. If you can't quite see spending the $250 plus for the expensive brands, this is a good alternative.
