Purchase: I purchased this product at Stagecoach West in Irving, New York. It was on sale and a 33% more bonus size. It was around $10 and it is usually $16 for 24oz. I had just had another vet appointment about why my horse was still rubbing his tail.
Likes: It seemed to work. When I noticed rubbing I would treat him and he would stop.
Dislikes: it never really cured the problem. The problem comes back so I need a lifetime supply of this stuff.
Quality: I never had a problem with the sprayer. I do need to rub the product in and I don't like it on my hands so I wear gloves. The product is as thin as water and will drip causing some waste. It is non-greasy and dries so you can't see it.
Summary: This product has helped my horse when the veterinarians couldn't come up with a solution but it never cured the underlying problem. I groom dogs and it has helped some of my clients dogs as well. I had previously tried the anti-itch prescription and over the counter sprays for dogs, Gold Bond, Neosporin, Vitamin E, and saw no results. (My horse is kept clean, moisturized and wormed; he rubs no other parts of his body but with his size he has taken down stall fixtures and walls when rubbing; not to mention his tail looks like a rats).
