Purchase: i bought my saddle used off of an endurance website. I had wanted to go back to an english style of saddle and liked the synthetic material, in that, I felt like I was 'velcroe'd" onto the horse. It was reputed to be comfortable to the horse as well. I paid $650.00.
Likes: So far, my horse has not had a sore back or even any tender places, even after long rides in the steep Rocky Mountains. The saddle is lightweight and easy to handle. Its easy to clean and is comfortable to me as well.
Dislikes: This probably shouldn't count, but the stirrup leathers are stiff.
Quality: The Cair panels give and take depending on the horses movement. The saddle itself is well made. I haven't noticed any problems with it.
Summary: The Wintec Pro Endurance is lightweight, comfortable to both me and my horse; has the EZ change gullet in the event my horses back would change or I would get another horse. I can't see a time when I'd need to get another saddle.
