Purchase: I was searching many years for a saddle that fit my Arabian mare. I wanted a secure,comfortable saddle that was a quality made saddle.
The problem I was running into was she was an Arabian that has a short back but is surprisingly wide for a small horse. I wanted an English saddle for the comfort of trail riding but all the wide tree English saddles were to long for her back. They were designed for the large warmbloods etc.
I was happy one day The Soltice Endurance saddle which sells for $1895 new was for sale on ebay for $1000. It was described as everything I was looking for in a saddle. I told my husband about my dream saddle & for my Birthday he had a friend with out me knowing purchased the saddle to surprise me.
Likes: I loved everything about the saddle. I am very happy with the quality. It has many rings for long trail rides to attach saddle bags etc. It is the most secure & comfortable saddle I have ever rode in my life.
I would recommend this saddle to anyone who trail rides or is in the saddle for long periods of time. I have since purchased a quarter horse that is very wide with no withers & this saddle fits her.
The two things that stand out in this saddle to me is the comfort & security. Whether I am cantering or climbing hills I am always comfortable plus secure in this saddle. One more thing if you use endurance stirrups it compliments the saddle to get its maximum comfort.
Dislikes: I love everything about the saddle.
Quality: The construction of the saddle is hand made in England. The quality is excellant they are truly one of the best saddle makers in the world today.
Summary: Everyone who has ever sat in the saddle is impressed at the security & comfort. This saddle is worth the investment if you will be spending many hours in the saddle or have a hard to fit horse.
