Purchase: I got this saddle about 4 months ago at a local tack shop for $1,395.
Likes: I really like how wide the seat is on this saddle, I ride jumpers and it really helps me get a good feel of the horse beneath me. I chose the pencil knee blocks and ever since I've gotten this saddle my equitation has improved a lot. The leather on this saddle is beautiful after oiling it a few times it's darkened slightly and taken on a nice rich color. There was little to no break-in time w/ this saddle for me, it's been comfortable since day one.
Dislikes: The only think I haven't liked is how hard the panels are, I use a sheepskin half pad under my saddle at all times just in case but I would still prefer a softer panel for my horse. Typically foam panels are a little harder than fleece lined ones as i expected but it's just a pet peeve.
Quality: This saddle is a very good quality saddle, of course there is always room for improvement but it's very comfortable for me and my horse and it serves it's purpose well. The low pommel really fits my horses back and he seems happy with it.
Summary: Over all this saddle is great, it does what you need of it and stands up tough to wear. I would advise anyone to purchase it. It's also a great quality saddle for the price.
