Purchase: I bought these from Fleet farm and other places, usually ran about $7 per bag for 5 pounds. I have purchased every flavor.
Likes: The horses like them and they last several months. The small size has advantages and disadvantages...they fit easily in your pocket, they are a good size if you are training and need lots of treats, they don't crumble unless you get them wet and dry them...but the small size means that if you want to give your horse a big treat, you need 4-5 of them, not just one. The small size also makes it easy for foals to eat-something that's a problem with bigger treats and smaller horses.
Dislikes: Maybe the small size, but it's nice to only have to give a little treat if that's all I want to give, like when my horses discover I might have something tasty in my pocket and I didn't mean for them to know. Being hard means that some horses, like very young babies or very old horses without teeth, can have problems chewing them.
Quality: Small, somewhat rod-shaped very hard treats in several flavors. They come in a plastic bag that I usually dump into a different container because it doesn't reseal.
Summary: A good treat, good for training because of the small size, good price for the quantity.
