Purchase: I bought this helmet for around $250 I believe from the tack room, inc.
Likes: It is very light and extremely comfy, also very airy. I like to be up to date with horse show fashion, and I find that I fit in quite well at all the rated shows and my outfit looks great! you feel great, you look great! I prefer it to my GPA too because it is a lot lighter, and even though the GPA has air vent strips that are exposed, I think the GR8 is cooler.
Dislikes: nothing at all, perhaps maybe the price tag after already owning 2 GPAs!
Quality: The quality is great---just what you would expect from Charles Owens. So far (knock on wood) I have only fallen with in on once, and it is fine. It is so comfy!
Summary: It is definitely worth the price. If you want to look the part while still maintaining comfort, I would recommend the GR8. It is airy, comfy, light, and stylish. What more could you ask for?
