Purchase: Purchased these boots through Stateline Tack website for $40. Needed some tough boots to hold up to mucking stalls everyday.
Likes: At first these boots were comfortable and I thought they were tough until....
Dislikes: After a couple of uses, the boots' soles started to come apart and the foot bed started to crumble and stain my socks black. The boots would fall off my feet no matter how tight I twisted the ligature tie, and they were heavy! Every time I walked I felt like I had heavy weights on my feet and had to make an effort to walk.
Quality: The construction is lousy. The footbed falls apart immediately after use, and stains your socks black. The shoes' soles are not sturdy and actually allow liquid to seep into your shoe while you muck. These boots are not light either....I found myself tripping over them as I walked because they were so heavy!
Summary: Please don't get these boots if you don't want to hurt yourself. They stain clothes, cause unnecessary injury and discomfort. If I could give it a number on a scale from 1-10, I would give it a 0.
