Purchase: I loved the jump saddle I'd ridden in, and thought it was beautiful quality. I bought it (internationally) brand new and paid approx 1750 Euro. Plus shipping and customs...
Likes: The leather of the saddle was beautiful quality...
Dislikes: From the first week I had the saddle it didn't fit straight on my horse. It constantly shifted to the left. At first my instructor and I thought it was me, but eventually realised it was the saddle.
I had a professional saddle fitter check the saddle and she told me the panels had been fitted unevenly to the saddle. She stipulated that it was definitely a manufacturer fault, and assured me that any reputable company would certainly take it back with full refund! Not so!! I emailed Prestige a number of times....no response. I ended up having to pay to have it sent (internationally) back to the saddlery, and they sent it to Prestige for me. Prestige said that they could find nothing wrong with it, although they admitted to realigning the panels! Odd that a saddle with nothing wrong needed its panels realigned!! Hmmmm... I am still shocked that they would not refund me for a saddle that had a "manufacturers fault"!
Quality: Obviously what I have to say about this particular saddle is not complimentary!
Summary: Very disappointed with Prestige. I hope they know I think their customer service it disgraceful, and because of my experience I have recommended a lot of interested contacts against buying their dressage saddles.
